Magpies ÂŁ4m Ambrose Bid? - Ipswich Town News
Reports in the North-East claim that Bobby Robson's Newcastle United are set to bid ÂŁ4 million for Town's Darren Ambrose in the summer.
Magpies' director of football Gordon Milne watched Ambrose when the Blues faced Sheffield United at Bramall Lane recently and Robson, chief scout Charlie Woods and chairman Freddie Shepherd watched the Blues against Bradford at the weekend.
Newcastle have long been linked with Ambrose as have a number of other Premiership sides.
