Town Release New Logo - Ipswich Town News

Town have released photos of the next season's away kit with the Powergen logo replacing the current TXU Energi branding. Powergen took over TXU Energi's UK retail business towards the end of last year and won't be using the TXU name after April.

The new logo will appear on both kits next season with the away kit available at a reduced cost due to the change coming halfway through it's lifespan.

The away kit with the current TXU logo will be discounted for the rest of this season (adults £19.99, children £14.99).

Paul Parmenter, sales and marketing director at Powergen, welcomed the association between Town and his company: "We are very much looking forward to continuing the sponsorship of Ipswich Town and will work closely with all areas of the club, including the women's team and Football in the Community Project, as well as the fans and the local media."

Town's commercial director, Paul Clouting commented: "Whilst never being ideal to change the logo on shirts during its life, the club recognise the impact of a sponsorship change on its supporters.

"So, after consultation we have taken a proactive approach in providing value for money both on the current replica shirt but also next year's model.

"We are delighted that Powergen will be continuing the association started with TXU Energi."
