Town Squad on Tour - Ipswich Town News

Town have left for their tour of the Baltic. The squad is as follows: Richard Wright, Keith Branagan, Fabian Wilnis, Gary Croft, Jamie Clapham , Tony Mowbray, John McGreal, Manuel Thetis, Titus Bramble, Matt Holland, Jim Magilton, Jermaine Wright, Martijn Reuser, James Scowcroft, David Johnson, Marcus Stewart, Richard Logan, John Scales, Wayne Brown and Stuart Niven. Interesting omissions are Sean Friars and Neil Midgley, no word on why they have been left at home. Fabian Wilnis has not gone out with the squad initially, but will catch up later as his wife has gone into labour.

Further to the earlier reports on Claus Jensen it seems that Charlton and Town initially offered similar deals to the Dane, however on returning to the Valley Alan Curbishley's club offered a vastly improved contract.

Tickets for the pre-season friendly match with old UEFA Cup Final foes AZ 67 Alkmaar on 5th August will go on sale from Monday July 24th. The game kicks off at 3 pm and turnstiles will be open from 1.30 pm. Prices are £12 for adults, £8 for OAPs and £4 for children.
