Banker Denies Bid - Ipswich Town News
A venture captalist has denied a report claiming he is ready to make a move to take over Town. Anthony Bull, investment director at Lloyds Bank's venture capital arm LDC, says that although he is a Blues' fan there is no truth in the story.
Bull says: "This appears to have come about because a journalist erroneously made a link between me being a season ticket holder at Portman Road and being a director of a venture capital firm and also that I have recently been talking to Howard Wells, the ex-chief executive of ITFC."
Bull added that these talks had nothing to do with Town but were related to investments outside football.
