Town Transfer Embargo - Ipswich Town News
The Football League have confirmed that as expected the Blues are prevented from taking on any loan stars during the period of their administration.
The League say this is something that happens as a matter of course: "All clubs in administration are automatically subjected to a transfer embargo and there is only a small degree of flexibility.
"Clubs in administration seeking to bring in new players have to ask our permission. The League's position is that if clubs have spare money we believe it should be used to pay off debts rather than in the transfer market."
When the period of administration ends the Blues will apply to the League to have the ban rescinded, something which will be decided at on of the League's monthly meetings.
