Sheepshanks Angry - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks has hit out at Newcastle's approach to Deloitte and Touche regarding Darren Ambrose and Darren Bent. The Magpies offered a derisory £2.5 million for the pair an offer which was refused.
The Town chairman told the club site: "I have been made aware that Newcastle have made an offer to the Administrators for Darren Ambrose and Darren Bent and I am upset by it.
"I am particularly disappointed by the way it was carried out and it is also not in the interests of the club, the supporters and particularly our creditors to let players leave Ipswich Town at knockdown prices."
