Town Women's Game Off - Ipswich Town News
Ipswich Town Women’s game against Gwalia United at Newport Stadium has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Pitch inspections were carried out at 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.50pm - 10 minutes before the scheduled start - before the game was called off.
The Blues are currently top of FAWNL Southern Premier Division on goal difference but will almost certainly be knocked off the summit this afternoon with Exeter, Hashtag United and Oxford United all in action.
Joe Sheehan’s side are on the road again on Wednesday when they travel to Billericay (KO 7.45pm) and then again for a FAWNL Cup tie at Exeter next Sunday (KO 2pm).
