Matt to Hold Talks - Ipswich Town News
Town skipper Matt Holland is to hold talks with chairman David Sheepshanks to ascertain the position of the players while the club is in administration. Holland is the club's PFA representative in addition to his role of captain.
Holland has already held talks with PFA executive Mick McGuire and says he wants the situation clarified: "I'm seeing the chairman to establish a few things. I want to hear at first hand what the full situation is regarding administration, how long he feels it will last, what the future holds for players and stuff like that.
"This is an uncertain time for everyone and this may be the first of several meetings with the chairman. I will ask him to keep me informed of developments first-hand so that I can pass it on to the players.
"As there are developments it would be nice if I could be told about them as we go along. Hopefully Mr Sheepshanks and I can enter into a good dialogue and that it can be a successful meeting."
