McGreal to Return - Ipswich Town News
Defender John McGreal will return to the Town line-up for Wednesday's crucial Division One game against Wolves. The former Tranmere man has been out since early December with a knee ligament problem.
With Hermann Hreidarsson suspended for four games (three for his red card, one for reaching five bookings), McGreal will slot into the defence. Chris Makin looks likely to continue at left-back while Matt Holland may return to the midfield.
Manager Joe Royle has been impressed with McGreal since he came to the club: "I have always had a high regard for him and after seeing him at close quarters I have an even higher regard for him. He will start and will be an important player back for us."
Other than the suspended Hreidarsson and long-term injury Mark Venus, the only other player missing at present is Finidi George who is still suffering with a hip injury.
