Nwabueze Nets Twice as U21s Draw at Charlton - Ipswich Town News
Jesse Nwabueze was the Town U21s’ super-sub for the second game running as the forward netted twice as the Blues came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Charlton Athletic at Dartford’s Princes Park.
Goals from Ollie Hobden and Henry Rylah on 44 and 56 had given the Addicks, who went into the match top of Professional Development League Two South, a two-goal lead.
But Nwabueze, who hit the winner in last week’s 2-1 victory over Watford at Portman Road, struck on 78 and 82 to claim a point for the Blues.
U21s: Fleischer, Jambang, Lewis, Mazionis (c), Ayoola, Turner, Mendel-Idowu, Okunowo, O Davis, T Taylor, Roberts. Subs: Babb, Fletcher, Nwabueze, Curtis, Onuchukwu.
