Town Women in FA Cup Action - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich Town Women are in Adobe Women’s FA Cup first-round action against the MK Dons at the Martello Ground, Felixstowe this afternoon (KO 1pm).

The Blues thrashed the Dons 13-0 in the league last week, so Town, who have enjoyed a number of strong cup runs in recent seasons, will be looking to make smooth progress into the second round.

"This is a break from the league for us and we begin our FA Cup journey against the same side we faced last weekend,” manager Joe Sheehan told the club site.

"We are sure this game will provide different challenges to last week but our application and attitude will be the same.

"We’ll aim to put in a really positive performance in the hope we can progress to the next round.”

Turnstiles open at midday for the earlier than usual kick-off with season tickets for Ipswich Town Women and Felixstowe & Walton not valid for this tie. Prices are £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £3 for under-16s.
