Bowditch Given Number - Ipswich Town News
Young striker Dean Bowditch, in with a chance of a place on the bench at Norwich on Sunday, has been handed first team squad number 17. That number was vacated by Wayne Brown when he moved to Watford earlier in the season.
Impressive performances in the Academy side and reserves, as well as the England U17s, have seen Bowditch recently called into training with the first team.
Illness, injuries and suspensions to more senior strikers could give the 16-year-old a chance of a debut at Carrow Road.
