Players Agree Deferral - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks has said that the club's players have agreed in principle to another pay deferral. This latest temporary cut is believed to be of 20% and will be paid back in July.
Sheepshanks says that the deal shows the players' commitment to the Town cause: "Agreement has now been made in principle but has not yet been signed. The club appreciates the support by all the players for the club's present predicament.
"We are all in this together. The very future of Ipswich Town hangs in the balance so we are grateful to the playing staff for being so positive in their support of the club."
