Clean Sheet for Sereni - Ipswich Town News
On loan Town keeper Matteo Sereni kept another clean sheet this weekend as 10-man Brescia drew at home to Bologna.
Brazilian defender Fabio Bilica was shown the red card just before the break, but Sereni's side held firm for the point which leaves them in 11th in Serie A.
Ulrich Le Pen's Strasbourg also drew 0-0, at home to Marseille, however the Town man was not involved.
The year-long loan agreements agreed for both players, as well as financial considerations, mean that the Blues cannot call either player back this season.
Town negotiated fees for Sereni and Le Pen payable next summer if their loan clubs then wish to sign them permanently, and have the cash to be able to do so.
