Ayinde Extends Rochdale Loan - Ipswich Town News
Blues forward Leon Ayinde has extended his loan spell with Vanarama National League Rochdale to the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Irishman moved to Dale in September and made seven appearances before picking up an injury which sidelined him for two months.
However, Ayinde, who featured for the Town first team in pre-season in 2023 and 2024, returned to action as a sub in the 3-0 home win against Tamworth and featured again in the 3-1 win at AFC Fylde on Boxing Day, before playing the first 70 minutes of last night’s 4-3 on-penalties FA Trophy victory at Stockton, the game having ended goalless.
Former Republic of Ireland U17 call-up Ayinde joined Town from Cork City in January 2023.
