England Release Dean - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle has received confirmation that Dean Bowditch will be excused from England U17s duty this month. The 16-year-old striker was due to meet up with the England side later this week.
Royle said: "I spoke to John Peacock, who coaches the national team, and he confirmed Dean can stay with us. He said first team football with Ipswich is as good as anything for the kid right now."
With Marcus Bent out and Darren Ambrose a doubt, Bowditch could be set for a full debut against Wolves at Molineux.
