The Blues’ U18s were beaten 1-0 away at Fleetwood Town yesterday morning.
Harvey Currie scored the only goal for the Cod Army, only their third Professional Development League Two win this season.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Dundalk defender Calum Woods has been training with the Blues this week, having previously spent time with the club in December.
Northern Ireland U16 international Woods, who took part in a session with the Blues’ U21s during his latest stint at Playford Road, has trained with the senior Dundalk squad in pre-season ahead of the League of Ireland campaign, which runs through the summer, also featuring in one of their friendlies.
