Town Offered Loanee - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle says that a club offered the Blues a player on loan with his wages paid in full, just so their man could gain experience. However, due to the loan embargo slapped on clubs in administration Town could accept the offer.
Royle said: "A club offered to give us a player on loan for free and carry on paying his wages just so he could get some regular first-team experience but we are not able to take him.”
Yesterday the Town boss said that one of the biggest problems with administration from a footballing point of view was the inability to bring in loan players when injuries have hit.
