Andreas Jakobsson set to join Town? - Ipswich Town News
Reports from Sweden suggest that Andreas Jakobsson is set join Town either today or tomorrow. His current club Helsingborgs are reported to have agreed a fee and all that remains is for the Swedish international defender to agree terms with Town. Jakobsson has made 9 full international appearances for Sweden and is rated as one of the best defenders in the Swedish league. He is seen as George Burley as a direct replacement for Tony Mowbray, suggesting that 5-3-2 may once more be a formation often used by Town, despite the use of 4-4-2 in Saturday's poor display against FC Twente.
