Chris Makin is a doubt ahead of Saturday's game at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday.

The defender picked up a hamstring strain during last night's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

With John McGreal, Mark Venus and Hermann Hreidarsson already missing from the defence, Joe Royle has a tricky task to pick a side for the trip to South Yorkshire.
