The Sunday tabloids are linking Darrens Bent and Ambrose with moves to Everton and Ambrose with a switch to Aston Villa.

Premiership scouts have watched Town games in great numbers of late and are able to go after Blues' players due to Town's 'club in distress' status.

No club has yet utilised the new rule which came in at the beginning of the season which allows clubs to buy and play purchases from sides in administration. Joe Royle will hope that this continues to be the case as the Blues press for the play-offs.
