Reports claim Town skipper Matt Holland has been watched by numerous Premiership clubs in recent games.
Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Charlton, West Brom and Southampton are all said to be on his trail and seven sides were said to have seen him action at Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
If any clubs are interested then they would have to act this week with the 'club in distress' rule only applying until next weekend.
