No Ban for Thomas - Ipswich Town News
Despite receiving his fifth domestic booking of the season in Tuesday's game against Reading, Town defender Thomas Gaardsøe is not facing a suspension.
Players receiving five domestic bookings did face an automatic one match ban, however the cut-off date was February 28th. In order to obtain a ban at this stage of the season, players have to pick up ten domestic yellow cards.
Gaardsøe has actually been booked seven times this season but two of those were in the UEFA Cup ties against Slovan Liberec and do not count towards the domestic totals.
