Two Trialists In Reserves - Ipswich Town News
Town will field two trialists this evening when the reserves take on West Ham at Dagenham and Redbridge's Victoria Road ground (KO 7pm). Both players have been released by Arsenal's Academy and were spotted by Town at recent exit trials.
Full-back Ashley Probets, 18, did well in last week's reserve match against Wimbledon while Alfie Kamara, also 18, is a centre-half or midfielder who, despite being born in Sierra Leone, has represented England at U15 level.
Both trialists start at Dagenham, with the rest of the side made up of Academy youngsters with James Pullen and Nabil Abidallah the only players over 20 years old.
Town side: James Pullen, Scott Mitchell, Lee Chaffey, Alfie Kamara, Aiden Collins, Chris Hogg, Nabil Abidallah, Ian Westlake, Sam Morrow, Dean Bowditch, Ashley Probets. Subs: Stuart Boardley, Scott Peat, Adem Atay, Craig Reid and Gerard Nash.
