Town's reserves drew 2-2 with West Ham at Dagenham and Redbridge's Victoria Road ground on Wednesday night.
West Ham went ahead in the 24th minute via Daryl McMahon before Sam Morrow, who ought to have put the Blues ahead earlier on, equalised.
The Hammers went ahead again through former Arsenal trainee David Noble but Town central defender Lee Chaffey grabbed a second equaliser with 17 minutes left on the clock.
