Town have had their in-house IT wizard Colin Hammond design a program to allocate the 2,000 non-season ticket seats. The program, designed in consultation with the ticket office, is designed to allocate seats as fairly as possible amongst Portman Plus holders, with supporters getting to see the better sides in the Division as well as the less popular.
George Burley has restated his eagerness to spend the several million currently buring a hole in his pocket. However, he is prepared to wait until the right player comes along: "It’s no good spending for the sake of it. There is money in the kitty, but it is no good bringing in players who are no better than ones you have already got."
