U21 Calls on Sunday - Ipswich Town News
Town will know on Sunday afternoon whether Darren Bent and Darren Ambrose will be called up for the England U21 match with Portugal in Rio Major on March 28th. If they are both included then Town's match with Gillingham the day after will be postponed.
Skipper Matt Holland has already been called into the Irish squad for their match against Georgia in Tblisi on the same day as the Blues are set to face the Gills. Town need three players to be called up to get the game postponed.
Gillingham will hope that the date of the match is switched as they have already had two players drafted into international squads. Impressive keeper Jason Brown will be with the Welsh U21s while striker Mamady Sidibe is in the Mali squad.
