Ambrose Fee £2.5m? - Ipswich Town News
Reports indicate that Newcastle United paid £2.5 million for Darren Ambrose. The Magpies have long been interested in the midfielder and previously offered £3 million first for Ambrose, Darren Bent and Matt Bloomfield and then for just the two Darrens.
Town have, as on many previous occasions, not disclosed the fee, however as Newcastle are a PLC they have to announce any substantial outgoings to the Stock Exchange.
