Hermann Move Wednesday? - Ipswich Town News
Hermann Hreidarsson's agent Peter Harrison says that the Icelandic defender could join Portsmouth on Wednesday. The lure of the Premiership is likely to be too much for the former Wimbledon, Brentford and Crystal Palace player.
Harrison says negotiations are ongoing: "We are still in talks with Portsmouth and I don't envisage anything being completed until Wednesday.
"If we can agree a deal then hopefully it will be before the deadline on Thursday so he will be available to his new club.
The Icelander is happy at Town and likes living in the area, however he is keen to get back in the Premiership: "Obviously every player wants to play in the top flight and it does look like Portsmouth are nearly there for next season.
"Hermann obviously needs to play in the top-flight and Portsmouth are a very ambitious club."
