Luxury for Administrators - Ipswich Town News
Town's administrators Deloitte and Touche are staying in the relative luxury of Hintlesham Hall while they work through the club's financial crisis. The news is unlikely to please fans annoyed at the cut-price departure of Darren Ambrose and expected exit of Hermann Hreidarsson.
Rumours of the administrators' plush Suffolk accommodation started on the TWTD Message Board yesterday and have been confirmed by club chief executive Derek Bowden: "They have been offered a very competitive corporate group booking rate which compares favourably with other local hotels.
"I can assure you that money is not being squandered during the administration period."
The accommodation is reported to be costing £88-a-night with Deloitte and Touche in their seventh week at the club.
Deloitte and Touche's bill to Leicester City when they were in administration earlier this season was £1.2 million.
