Scandinavia Pre-Season? - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle has indicated that Scandinavia may again be Town's destination ahead of the 2003/04 season. Last summer the Blues played two games in Denmark and the trip north in has become a regular summer occurrence.
Royle says his side will also have games played closer to home: "I can definitely say we will be playing a lot of games locally so the supporters can come and see us.
"I have a thick file of teams wanting to play us but we will look at it closer at the end of May.
"We may have a week in Scandinavia somewhere but we will see about that. I can see a lot of value in playing a prestige friendly, especially to give young players experience."
