Holland in Defence - Ipswich Town News

Town skipper Matt Holland is set to line-up in the Town defence tomorrow in place of the injured Thomas Gaardsøe. The Dane will sit out with a groin injury.

Holland will come into the centre of a defensive three with Richard Naylor and Chris Makin alongside him.

In midfield there will again no place for Martijn Reuser with Jim Magilton, Tommy Miller and Jermaine Wright retaining their places.

Up front, with Darren Bent absent, Pablo Couñago and Marcus Bent will continue. Alun Armstrong is back in action after his wrist injury and will be on the bench.

Forest manager Paul Hart says he was impressed with Town when his side beat them 2-1 at the end of November: "I think Ipswich are the best side we have played here this season because they passed the ball very well.

"They have still got a lot of players who were with them in the Premiership and they are certainly no mugs.

"They are right up there and have recovered very well since Joe took over."

Town squad: Abidallah, Armstrong, M Bent, Couñago, Holland, Makin, Magilton, Marshall, Miller, Naylor, Pullen, Reuser, Richards, Westlake, Wilnis and Wright.
