Bowditch in Squad - Ipswich Town News

Youngster Dean Bowditch is included in Joe Royle's squad for Saturday's game at Coventry ahead of Alun Armstrong. The former Boro man is left out of the travelling party due to his lack of fitness after his lay-off with a broken wrist.

Nabil Abidallah also drops out after his inclusion last week. Jim Magilton and Thomas Gaardsøe are both in after their groin injuries improved throughout the week.

Town will probably line-up as against Forest last weekend but with Matt Holland moving into the midfield and either Tommy Miller or Jermaine Wright dropping out. Gaardsøe is set to slot back into his regular role betwen Richard Naylor and Chris Makin.

Coventry are without the injured Youssef Safri who has a hernia. There are no other fitness problems but Morton Hyldgaard will not be in action as any further appearances will mean the Sky Blues owe his former club £100,000, a fee they can't afford.

Youssef Chippo is also not in contention as he has made a loan move to Al-Sadd in Qatar.

Town squad: M Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Gaardsøe, Holland, Makin, Magilton, Marshall, Miller, Naylor, Pullen, Reuser, Richards, Westlake, Wilnis and Wright.
