Wilnis Man of the Month - Ipswich Town News
Resurgent full-back Fabian Wilnis was the winner of the TWTD Player of the Month for March after a stunning spell which emphasised the change in direction his career has taken since Joe Royle came to the club.
The Dutchman was out of favour and offered on a free under George Burley's management but since the switch of boss and a recall to the side the former De Graafschap man has been one of the side's most consistent performers.
Wilnis received 35% of around 1200 votes with Tommy Miller second on 17.6% just 0.6% ahead of Matt Holland in third.
The 32-year-old, who is hoping to be offered another Town deal in the summer, started March in style, scoring the opening goal in the 2-0 win against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
