Pablo Couñago has been voted the Town Players' Player of the Year. The Spaniard beat joint runners-up Jim Magilton and Matt Holland by one vote.
Town boss Joe Royle told the club site he that has been impressed with the ex-Celta Vigo man's form: "I have been delighted with the way Pablo has been operating for us lately.
"He's a strong lad with excellent technique, who works hard for the team. He is scoring goals regularly as well and it's fair to say we have missed him when he has not been in the side this season."
