Pullen Offered a Free - Ipswich Town News
Second choice Town keeper James Pullen has been offered a free transfer by Town. The Essex-born player made two appearances for the Blues, both earlier this season.
His first game was the Worthington Cup tie against Middlesbrough while his league bow came in the match against Grimsby. He spent 2001/02 on loan at Blackpool where he won an LDV Vans Trophy medal.
Pullen has a year left on his deal at Portman Road and Joe Royle's decision to let him go suggests that a new goalkeeper to challenge Andy Marshall may be on his way to Portman Road over the summer.
Pullen joined Town from non-league Heybridge Swifts in the summer of 1999.
