Trelleborg Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town's Swedish pre-season game in Trelleborg will take place on July 22nd. A trip to Scandinavia has long been the traditional preparation for the league campaign and 2003/04 is set to be no different.
The dates for the tour are not yet confirmed but the trip is expected to run from July 17th to 23rd.
Recent reports suggested that Town would face UEFA Cup foes Helsingborg and last year's pre-season opposition Farum, however this looks to have been incorrect. We understand that one of the other games will be against Swedish side Mjällby with the third match in Denmark.
As often happens in these games Town will face a side made up from a number of clubs at Trelleborg. The team will comprise of players from Trelleborgs FF, IFK Trelleborg and BK Ymor.
Trelleborg is set to be Town's base while they are in Scandinavia.
