Three to Join Boston? - Ipswich Town News

Released Blues' keeper James Pullen could be one of three Town players joining Neil Thompson at Boston over the summer. Pullen would join a number of familiar faces at the Lincolnshire club.

The former Heybridge Swifts keeper was told that he is free to leave Portman Road last week, a decision he was by no means expecting.

Former Town full-back Thompson clearly rates the Blues' academy and last season took Steve Burton (now with Doncaster) on loan and signed Richard Logan permanently.

On deadline day released pair Robert Dickinson and Lee Beevers also moved to the Pilgrims on loan and will have talks over permanent switches to York Street later this week.

Beevers made his league debut on Saturday, coming on as an 82nd minute sub in Boston's 2-1 win at Cambridge United.
