Ticket Sale Signs Good - Ipswich Town News

Town Ticket Office manager John Ford says that season ticket take-up is looking promising at this early stage in the renewal process. Many fans will already have received their renewals while the final batch will be sent out today.

As well as the usual one-year season tickets the club are offering a limited number of debentures lasting 10 and 20 years, which Ford told the club site have received a number of enquiries: "We've had a lot of interest in the first week and some of that interest has come from people who are not even season ticket holders, which has surprised me.

"There have been a few looking at the 20-year debenture but it's the 10-year scheme that has grabbed the imagination.

"Those people interested in taking up a debenture must contact the club by May 16th with the payment deadline on May 30th."

Town are hoping that the vast majority of the 19,000 supporters who had season tickets will renew over the summer with early sales crucial to the business plans aimed at refinancing the club.
