Bowditch's England Draw - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Dean Bowditch came on ten minutes into the second half of the England U17s' 0-0 draw with Italy on Friday afternoon. The young England side are currently playing in the U17s European Championships in Portugal.
Bowditch had previously scored in the 2-1 win against Israel when he played the full 90 minutes.
England now just need a draw against group leaders Spain on Sunday to qualify for the knock-out phase of the tournament, Italy having lost to Spain earlier in the week.
The top two in each of the two groups go through to a semi-final next Wednesday with the final three days later.
