Col U Friendly Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that they will meet Colchester United in a pre-season game at Layer Road on Saturday, July 26th (KO 3pm).
Many fans will welcome the local match against Phil Parkinson's side, although these days there are far fewer Blues' old boys at the Essex club than has been the case in recent years.
Coach Geraint Williams is still there as is Gavin Johnson while Mick Stockwell recently announced his retirement and Chris Keeble was released.
