No Holland Bids Yet - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle says that as yet the club has received no bids or enquiries regarding skipper Matt Holland. But the Blues' boss says that this is no surprise at this stage of the summer.
Royle says: "We have not had any calls about Matt but then we wouldn't expect to at the moment. This is a dead month with many managers away on holiday and no one wants to pay summer wages."
Holland has been linked with moves to a number of clubs including Aston Villa who made an attempt to sign him last summer. A switch to a London club looks more likely with Charlton or a Fulham side possibly managed by George Burley perhaps amongst the favourites to make close season bids.
