Bonwick Off to College - Ipswich Town News
Town academy player Guy Bonwick is set to go back into full-time education after being told he will not be offered a deal by the club.
Bonwick was amongst the most highly-rated players in the same age-group as Darren Bent, Darren Ambrose, Ian Westlake and Matt Bloomfield and even captained the side which won their U17 league. However, a series of injuries, including a broken wrist last season, have halted his progress.
The 19-year-old continued his studies while with Town but will now decide which university to choose with Bath and Loughborough amongst his options.
