Nabil Wants Place - Ipswich Town News

Dutch midfielder Nabil Abidallah has said that he is determined to stay and win a place in the Town first team. The 20-year-old recently had an unsuccessful trial with FC Thun in Switzerland.

Abidallah says he going to work hard to win a place: "I will be back for pre-season training in July and my entire focus is on getting into the first team. I have been close to getting there on a few occasions and I still believe I can make it.

"There is a lot of competition for places in midfield but if I keep working I can force my way in.”

The former Ajax player was offered a free transfer by Joe Royle but has another year left on his contract.
