Bent to Leicester? - Ipswich Town News
Reports this morning claim that Leicester City are set to table a £1 million bid for Blues' striker Marcus Bent.
The Foxes are looking to strengthen their side for their Premiership season and apparently see Bent as a man who can help them stay in the top flight.
Town have made no secret of the need to lose high wager earners and Bent, signed from Blackburn in November 2001 for £3 million, is amongst them.
With the market still depressed the club may well be forced to accept a fee as low as £1 million for Bent who has scored 22 goals in 65 appearances for the Blues.
