Road Work to Restart - Ipswich Town News
Work on Sir Alf Ramsey Way is set to restart once Town are out of administration. The street behind the North Stand, formerly Portman's Walk, has been closed since work began on the building of the new stand in 2001.
The road has been closed to traffic during this period with improvements starting to be made as the building development reached its conclusion. However, when Town went into administration on February 10th, work stopped.
The Blues say that the cost of having the work completed will be a few thousand pounds. The club is likely to exit administration next Friday when Deloitte and Touche will go to court to report that the administration has acheived its purpose, the CVA agreed with creditors earlier in the month.
