Royle on Diallo - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle he will have to wait another week until he can do anything more in his attempt to sign defender Drissa Diallo. As reported yesterday, the Guinean international is set for talks with Burnley who he spent time with last season.
Royle says that his hands are tied until the club's Football League share is returned at next week's League board meeting: "All I can say at this stage is that we are interested, but we can do nothing until we are out of administration and the embargo is lifted. We hope this will happen on June 4th."
The 30-year-old, born in Mauritania and raised in France, impressed in his English debut against Town at Turf Moor in January.
