Physio Leaves Town - Ipswich Town News

David Weeks, one of the club's physios, is leaving the club to work with the FA. Weeks' duties will include working as part of the staff looking after sides up to the England U21s.

He starts his job at Lilleshall on June 23rd and told the club site he had a good spell at Town: "I have really enjoyed my time with Ipswich, working alongside top quality physio staff at the club.

"It's been a great education for me, spending two and a half years here and in that time I have made many new friends as well.

"But when the opportunity came to work with England, it was too good a chance to turn down.

"It's definitely a forward step for my career and one I am looking forward to taking on."

Weeks says he expects to work with the likes of Darren Ambrose, Darren Bent, Matt Bloomfield, Chris Hogg and Dean Bowditch while fulfilling his England duties.
