Keeper Coyne Linked - Ipswich Town News
Grimsby keeper Danny Coyne is being linked with Town and a number of other First Division clubs. Burnley currently look to be front-runners for his signature with Cardiff also reported to be interested.
Relegated Grimsby have been forced to make Coyne, their highest paid player, available on a free transfer despite him having another year left on his contract.
Joe Royle has admitted that he has contacted a number of goalkeepers this summer with Birmingham's Ian Bennett seemingly his first choice. Everton stopper Paul Gerrard has also been considered by Royle.
Prestatyn-born Coyne previously played at Tranmere and joined Grimsby in the summer of 1999. He has two international caps for Wales.
