Darren Sees Agent - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent saw agent Jonathan Barnett yesterday, however he says not too much should be read into the meeting which is purely routine.
Bent scored the winner for the England U21s on Monday night before going to see Barnett: "I am going to London to see my agent and have a chat about what direction I'm going in. It's just a general chat, not to discuss a specific move or anything like that.
"I am happy at Ipswich and I would be happy to stay, but I am not cancelling any options at this stage. I am just waiting to see how things develop."
Barnett said recently he would be recommending that Bent remain at Portman Road as he would not get too much first team football with bigger sides at this stage of his development.
